Imagine the "evolution" of humanity if we stopped killing 5,000 babies a day. We might have had a "warp drive" by now... | |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1089702Yes, we would have "evolved" into an even more grossly overpopulated planet unable to sustain itself, headed for certain destruction. Don't try and blame it "baby killing", why don't you turn your eye toward the fuckwits in power who are supressing high technology and keep it to themselves for whatever purpose? Wouldn't it be great to heal the world, with only a song? |

"evolution" weeds out the sick, old and weak as I recall it. |

Quoting: ZOMBIE_KILLERnah we would be spending more money to save the ones with birth defects and raise them to age where they could reproduce more like them. "evolution" weeds out the sick, old and weak as I recall it. Being sick or weak doesn't prevent anyone from making a contribution to the betterment of mankind, as Arthur C. Clarke, Beethoven, Mozart, Thomas Edison or Stephen Hawking would attest. If evolution worked like you say, and these people were "weeded out" at an early age, we'd all be worse off. |
