Yes. I've found it a very common experiece, especially among "free thinkers". I really do enjoy it, because, for me, it usually preceeds a very productive vision session...

I felt like I was there, with soldiers.. either Iraqi or American...


Bombs going off.... mortars hit nearby... or missiles hit on target.


Or soldiers being executed with point blank gunshot..

It was surreal man.. I wasn't asleep.. very conscious.

Yup, it's cool when it happens, thanks for the wiki link, I didn't know what to think about it before I saw that... It's happened to me maybe 10 times. The first few times scarred the shit out of me, thought it was a transformer, sonic boom, gun shot in the neighborhood. Then I realized , since no one else had experienced it, that it was 'normal' idiosyncratic and perception based.

BTW, I bet EVERYONE experiences this at some point in their lives, but most just ignore, misinterpret, or simply don't notice...

Last night just before REM I received a slap on my face. It woke me up. Weird stuff.

I experienced it 3 days ago for the first time in my live...but it wasnt like the gunshot/explosion...more like a really fat/big book would fall on the ground. It was loud and I got scared that poltergeist is involved..but when I turned on the lights everything was in place...what does that mean? Did you do any research?

Didn't Bret Michaels have that?

I've always had it for years... it didn't scare me at all..

I was in total control and know it wasn't harmful so I went along and experienced the ride..


Because of that calmness, not just explosions are coming through, but images.


Images of US soldiers, like i was around them.. but getting killed in the process.. or hearing someone else getting bombed to shits..

My theory is that it is like a water hammer in the pipes, when the water is shut down hard, bang.

Same goes for consciousness, when we are exhausted and fall into REM faster than we are used to, BANG!

It's actually quite a trip! I don't mind more experience if I could open and learn more what's happening!

For me once it was literally a sonic boom. So I kept asking my neighbors if they heard the fighter jet go over the neighborhood but no one heard it. I swear it was that loud, but yet it may have been the first big popping or additional opening of something in our around me. Usually its' clicking or popping like another said about a book hitting the floor. This was way powerful.

I've experienced it, too.

Not pleasant.

Have had this happen infrequently.

Never really thought about it much.

Just had one again last night... But this one feels spirit made.


Like a loud clap on the right side of the ear by someone trying to pull one on me.. it was loud!


Definitely 'entity' induced.
