As we were driving down a hill on 84 East in Waterbury, CT I saw a bright light not to far above the horizon that looked like antenna lights but this light was falling and it was a bit brighter than antenna lights, It was not blinking. "I am the police chief at Millersville University. I worked about 8 years of my 26 years in policing within patrol on night shift. This observation was a first for me, it was really neat, two of our students also saw if as we were talking outside of our student center. At first, due to the brightness and trajectory I was sure that it was very close to our location, that it would have struck earth at most a mile away. However, I began to believe that it may have been hard to judge the distance, and I heard no sounds. I called our County 911 center to check if they had received any other calls in the County which they had not. I read on this site this was seen throughout the NE and in Canada, I would be interested in knowing the best determined trajectory and where it likely landed. Thanks!

"I was sitting at my deck facing my living windows,two stories up. Saw it out one of the windows. Knew it was not one of the small planes from Fitchburg Airport. It was going in the wrong direction and was bright and going faster then the planes do. This is not the first time that I have seen a meteor, about five plus years ago I saw one heading from East to West out the same windows as tonight and it was green in color. Yesterday was a very strange day. really strange..

Anyway, I decided to take a day trip and I looked at the clock as I was leaving. It said 11:11.

Ok . I thought to myself. " That is a message or coinkydink" as I usually see it at night. But just kind of filed it in the back of my mind (what is left of it).

On the way home, I saw a truck with a message on it. I forgot what it was.. but to myself I said.. "there are no coincidences." I remember later it was DET on the truck. I had heard a radio commercial when the announcer said "Dread" like D' red.

So the DET of the truck siding I read as D' ET. (the ET ). Then I remembered the 11:11. and laughed.
