I finally found your response. You do understand that the beings on earth right now did not do this to earth! Right? I was born into this mess. Why does God blame us?

Instant death would be a huge blessing for probably 90% of the beings on this planet, those both in animal and human bodies included. Even without humans here the place is still insane, all beings forced to compete with and kill eachother to ensure their own survial. End the suffering.

Sometimes I wonder if humans don't have a subconscious desire to annhilate the planet based on the sheer fact of the suffering caused by the simple predator-prey system in play here in nature. Knowing we're going down the path to planetary omnicide seems almost like it may be a subconscious desire to finally put an end to it altogether, even if it means a lot of suffering in a process to reach that end goal.

IMO the predator-prey system is inherent to nature (to some extent). Any being that requires food to survive, and doesn't have the means / technology to produce the food is going to hunt and eat for its own survival.

I don't see why it would be any different on any other (3D) planet, at least, any other primitive (3D) planet. Where we humans messed up is thinking that just because we're "top of the food chain" that gives us the authority to mass slaughter / not respect others that are "below". When animals kill each other they are doing so to survive, there is no disrespect (they usually aren't killing for sport), just a means of survival.

We're already to a point in civilization where we don't need meat to survive. We can get all the nutrients without killing any animals if we wanted to. We should be "above" this predator-prey mentality, as IMO every civilization should as they advance to a certain point.

Name one other way that "non-advanced" beings, who have no technology to create food, could eat / get the nutrients they need without killing other animals?

Cat species for example are "designed" in a way that they cannot survive without eating meat. Unless there were more-advanced beings there providing artificially created food, I don't see any other options.

Even so, such a civilization would have to provide the animals with food forever, as without it, they would naturally develop "hunting instincts" over thousands of years of having to fend for themselves, without the food being provided.

If death is a natural part of the "cycle of life" then it would be reasonable to assume that the "predator-prey" system is an inherent part of the universe we occupy, at least in this density.

There could be places where the bodies simply interface with latent energy in the environment. It's really hard to know. We only know of earth.
