Hi Tuuur :-) Yes, very hot weather we have here, also... today it is 27°C (80.6 F) but feels 30°C... Day one of our heatwave... By Thursday, we are expecting 40°C (111 F) but it will feel higher/hotter according to the weather forecasters... It's going to be one hot week in-store for us here and around other parts of Europe!... An African heatwave... Not slept much... :-(.. it's been very hot all throughout the night... lots of people are being warned to stay indoors during the hottest times of the day. Especially people who are asthmatic or are suffering from hayfever, the very young, old etc... Nice that you have AC running... I do too but that's still not enough, lol... And even at that, there's more to happen than just volcanos going off and such so really, problems are going to be global when one thing leads to another... we can't really hide or escape anywhere to avoid some type of doom... Glad that it's cooled down some for you there... it is roasting! I'm not too keen on these African heatwave swarms after all, lol... I'm drinking lots of water, too... went through 2 large 5 litre bottles of spring water today alone...not just to drink though... However, because of political BS El Salvador's 5 tons of help were turned away at the border. The shelters are full. There are 100s of evacuees from Escuintla and the survivors from the volcano. There was a gentleman that was interviewed and it was aired worldwide. He had lost his entire family. He died yesterday. The good news; They found a small boy between broken down walls. He seems to be about a year and a half old and he is alive and ok. The strange news; Calle 18 (big street gang) donated beds, diapers, toilet paper, etc to the victims. Huge truck full of new things ordered to the site. It is a conflict for the people- so many have suffered extortion and murder from this street gang. Their efforts were coordinated from the jail... The sad news; funeral for family of 6- individual coffins, sized for each member. Very terrible and tragic. Angry news; When the government found out that the toxic combination would be thrown from the volcano, they notified the expensive golf resort, but, not the town full of people. The wealthy golfers all evacuated via helicopter. The poor people boiled to death.
