Teen suspended from school for bloodshot eyes after dad’s murder
[link to www.inquisitr.com]

A teenage boy in Texas insisted against his mother’s judgment that he attend school two days after his father’s murder.

Instead of offering counseling or giving the kid a bit of leeway to grieve, school officials that witnessed the teen’s bloodshot eyes assumed he’d been smoking doobs and suspended him.

Anyways, I thought it was significant. Just another BS call by a school. It just blows my mind.

Re: Teen suspended from school for bloodshot eyes after dad’s murder
That teen age "boy" is a man in my eyes. He is not a boy to be pitied, but a man to be admired. God, I'd be proud to call him son.

The school officials on the other hand are a bunch of ignorant, arrogant, cowardly assholes. I must confess my own shortcoming, that in spite of nine years of college (MBA and JD) and a respectable command of the English language, the most descriptive word I can think of is "assholes." Yet, when comparing the products of the human derriere and the corrupted minds of the Texas school officials, somehow the word seems highly appropriate.

Five stars for the young man's courage, and an extended middle finger to the entire Texas school system.
