Texas Instruments make these things. The same company that made those innocent calculators when I went to school. The theory is that once there is a big enough disaster that decreases the worlds population significantly, then humans would be chipped with RFID so that they would be easier to control. If a human plays up or doesn't follow the rules then his/hers chip would be turned off so that they cant buy or sell. Then your screwed.
