Thats not exactly correct ... they smelled samples of fish and shellfish from the gulf for oil and dispersants. Really got'a hand it to those FDA boys... sure know how to conduct good scientific tests ... and man are they thorough.

There is no way the seafood is not affected by what is going on.

It is all about raking in the money. They do this with every business, they will try to minimize the dangers and people will keep getting hurt. We all learned this with the Catholic Churches now. People wake up and I hope that person in Alaska is actually buying it to test it.

They left the residents there while spraying, they hired convicts to work where the public is to save money so how can anyone trust them on this subject?

I think I would take my chances with gulf shrimp vs. that crap from China and Thailand.
That said, yes, my folk are from down there and they do trust the government when it comes to stuff like this. Tried to warn my Dad about Fuku, GMO's and he just scoffs and waves it off. In his mind he's alive and there isn't a damn thing wrong with the food, it's kept him alive this long.

Here's the kicker.. I just got some info on this just last week. Where the hell did all that Oil go from the spill?
I got info where it went..
It's laying on the bottom of the gulf in the trenches. From what I was told they sent a ROV down to see what damage there was.. They got Oil 20 feet deep across the bottom of the gulf that's killed off the coral and sea life.. You hear about it? Hell No!
Can't wait for the up coming hurricane maybe due next week that will kick up all the sludge. You'll see Oil balls floating up on the shore. So, Yeah! this isn't over by a long shot..

I stopped eating Alaskan Salmon and Halibut after FU-KU also.

I m afraid one of my favorite dinners is off the menu for this boy for good. Its a big ocean and a big gulf but why take a chance?
