If you are good at something, that should be enough. Why would you need a woman batting her eyelashes at you and telling you how great you are? That aside, I agree that strong women can be intimidating. Let's face it, if these guys are so insecure that they need ego boosting, then it only stands to reasong that a strong, independent, intelligent, and beautiful woman is WAY out of their league. |

I didn't say you designed this competition, but you do play the game. Quoting: Luke Cage 1098663What is your definition of femininity? The definitions and roles have been reverse in many ways.Straight men largely don't like the new rules. That's why (as quiet as it's kept) women are marrying gay men. How can I get out of the game? Because I never wanted to be part of it , at any time....just wanted to be me, and live my life the way that makes me happy....like all humans strive to do. We all get out of the game by becoming aware of it. I think achievement is great. And if you're and artist, then you are an artist even if you don't make all that money. We have to go back to being just being men and women. And that doesn't mean oppression of women. Feminism would have us all believe that all men throughout history hated women and never fought along side you. Most men love their daughters and sisters. I have often told my women friends (some of whome are very agree), make allies of men.We all have needs(very human needs). We relate to women first through our mother's. I know this sucks for some women, but you are the nurturer on this planet. That is the gift of the feminine. You don't have to have a child to express this gift. This planet needs that gift. The material system is falling.I think this will be hardest for women in many ways. Most men I know will rejoice! Return to the spiritual nature of masculine and feminine. Balance. [link to www.youtube.com] I am looking very forward to the day that this happens....when we can all just go back to being men and women, without all this other crap messing stuff up. I feel in my heart, it is coming.... But living in the here and now, we are forced to be a part of this even if we don't want to, because that is what is surrounding us these days. Some of my Native Spiritual friends say that it is Women that will usher in the New World, that it will be born of Femanine energy, and that the energy fields here on Mother are already changing...and it's messing with the men badly. They say that is why so many men are 'metrosexual', bisexual, having problems with impotence.....because the Earth is being flooded by this Femanine Energy. They say it's creating great anxiety in them, making them act out in ways they normally don't, because it is so foreign to them... They also say that another cause of this is all the female Hormones that are in the water supply ( from women taking birth contrl pills), in the food we eat, given to the animals to make them more fertile, reproduce quicker... Yes, the natural order of things are very messed up....and I'm ready to step outside of it all, when the opportunity comes. It just isn't here yet....but it's coming. |

After a few years of being a SAHM, I am back out in the world and although my husband is supportive, he takes a lot of credit for my success. It's kind of amusing, because he gets called on it and gets upset... Being a SAHM when my children are in school all day, is not for me. I've never understood why people have to do stuff like this...instead of it causing jealousy, or insecurity, they should be PROUD of you for what you are contributing! I had an incident like this with my sign partner. We were a couple...and when we first met, and started the business, it was great. I apprenticed under her to really learn the sign industry, and I brought my award winning fine art skills with me, to add to the signs. Everything was great for about 5 years....then when I was just as capable a sign person as she was, and I was getting write ups in the paper about my signs/murals with the awesome artwork, had people driving across state to get me to paint their signs, developed my own client base that just wanted me to do the work.....her ego got the best of her. She started taking credit for my work! When I'd call her on it infront of others, she would just shut her mouth....but it would happen again. It finally got to the point where she was so jealous/intimidated, that every time I'd go to the shop to work, she'd start a huge fight with me, making it impossible for me to work. She should have been happy....that she taught me so well! That was a huge accomplishment!!! She had her own strengths that were important to the overall well being of the business. She was a Hell of a salesperson! The woman could truly sell ice cubes to eskimos, and leave them smiling and happy about it! Together, we made an awesome team, that had so much work, we couldn't do it all. It has always made me sad that EGO got in the way, and destroyed something so good. |

I always ask the younger man why they are interested in dating an older woman... And besides the women being more secure in their sexuality, and knowing what they like, and not being shy about it... The next biggest answer to my question is always this : We like older women because they don't like to play a bunch of games, aren't into a bunch of 'drama'. Also...older women are more stable in relationships. A young man that is looking for a long term stable relationship appears to have problems with women their own ages. Say that they just want to date a bunch of differant people, aren't interested in settling down with 1 person....why they are more interested in an older woman. |
