crazy guy at the kebab take away shop said he had predicted the big Christchurch earthquakes (time, place etc) before they happened.
He also said that there would be a big(6.0 +) quake on Friday 24 Sept (which will be the 23 Sept in the USA) between 12:00 and 1:00 which is between 7:00 and 8:00 CST in the USA
