Then they can blame the Democrats that remain in Congress when the veto isn't overridden. Then they can stand back and say "See, we tried! It's the Democrats fault! Vote Republican for President!" Then when they get another Republican President, they will make a run for the Treasury like they do every time they hold all the power...and extend their middle finger to Americans (even and especially those who voted for them). And then the Democrats will take back Congress, then the White House, and on the cycle repeats as TPTB continue to so easily manipulate the public into thinking this two-party travesty we have is for the best. |
