They weren't sued because they downloaded porn.
They were sued because they downloaded porn without paying for the movie, thus committing an act of piracy because this is considered an infraction to copyright "laws".

So let me get this right - Members of 4chan brought the website of Acs Law down in an attack and the guy that owns laughed at them calling them childish.

Then when the website came up again a new file was found containing the list of sky users with all personal details included. So some quick thinking person downloaded it before it was removed and sent it to file sharing sites.

Imagine, with no users, what would the network providers do?

How would they be able to sustain themselves as companies?

With network providers dropping like fly's and people ceasing to use the internet, what would Microsoft do?

I'm confident that at some point in the next 75 years, there will be an exodus from the internet for this very reason.

Perceptions will change.

New laws will be introduced.

The internet will have been a meteoric fad.
