Here in Canada, I've noticed that grocery stores have stopped marking down the meat by 50%, now it's only a 30% discount. It's like they all got together and decided this. Strange.

It hasn't been as drastic a change as in other areas, but I have noticed that there are not as many good 'sales' around as there used to be. I do believe that the Grocery people have sat down and made some decisions about 'base line prices', and 'discount prices', and are trying to keep from losing money these days.
