A couple of times a week, I just go to the local super market, get a cart, and just walk around and make myself a sandwich or two.

Eat it in the store, and then leave.

But that's just me.

I appreciate your honesty.
Are you doing it because you don't have the money to pay for what you are eating, or do you just like to do that?
I'm not trying to be mean when I ask....
LOL..My ex could not walk into a Kroger, without walking around drinking a chocolate milk, that he never paid for.
He told me he did it, because he felt like the 'store owed him' that chocolate milk, because they were so expensive on everything else.

I know people eating in stores happens even in good times, but its different now.....I see mothers feeding their kids while walking in the aisles.....I been seeing a woman that's feeding her toddler baby food...she looks tired, ashamed, and scared....not the same as having a chocolate milk.....

Thanks for answering my question...:)

It's sad that it is a desperation thing, people already feeling like they have no other choice than to 'steal' to feed their lil ones...:(
It's probably a good thing I haven't seen this yet...I know me, it would break my heart to see it, and I'd be buying them a cartfull of food, so they were not so desperate.
I'm concerned that there is soon going to be many more people like the ones you described....:(
