Senate grows some balls and takes steps to stop Obama from bypassing the normal democratic process and appointing unapproved nominees
It is really sad that congress has to waste their time taking special measures to make sure that the president doesn't screw the American people by appointing crappy csars and cabinet posts with scum that are marxist and socialist trash like he has in the past.

It is good to see both democrats and republicans working together in a bipartisan way to block Obama's evil intentions. I do think it would be easier to just impeach the president but maybe not.

Senate blocks recess appointments with deal between Dems, GOP

Senate Democrats agreed Wednesday night to a Republican demand to block President Obama from making recess appointments while Congress is out of town campaigning for the midterm elections.

Democratic leaders have agreed to schedule pro-forma sessions of the Senate every week over the next six weeks, a move that will prevent Obama from making emergency appointments, according to Senate sources briefed on the talks.

It is ironic that Obama is forcing Congress to be bipartisan to block him thus fulfilling Obama's campaign promise despite the fact that Obama has made no real attempt to work with Republicans at all.

I don't think the dems are rising up in a bipartisan effort to block Obama's appointments. They are running in fear from the backlash that is about to be unleashed on them in November and allowing resess appointment would just dump more fuel on the fire being hurled in their direction. I don't think they are doing anything more than trying to keep their jobs.

If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

They should have stood up to Obama the first time he did this. Too late, they won't get re-elected by pretending now that they aren't in cahoots with him. Wouldn't bother me if the ground opened up and swallowed the whole lot of them...good riddance.

They are running for their political lives right now. They know that they messed up big time when they bowed to the will of the dictator in the White House, instead of bowing down to the will of the people. They will get what they deserve.
