your idea is clearly an option.
For decades there has been little practical advance in space technologies
or so it would appear.
they are drawing a lot of attention to their "state of the art" drones.

When a big ship appears in the sky it must be obvious to anyone it is not from this earth

NO ti is NOT, the forces of Christ will see to that. Including my organization. We are going to be eventually on TV to teach the FACTS of God and the cosmos. Man will be taught who and what the FAther IS. There will be no alien worship.

It's pretty clear to me also that aliens are going to be the new forefront of faith-based religion. I agree with the original poster: people will believe it without actually ever seeing aliens, just like they've believed in miracles of "chosen ones" for so long. Historically, it was easy to make an wild claim and have people believe it, so long as you labeled it "supernatural". Now, people will believe anything labeled "advanced/secret technology".



Maybe it's the herd mentality that creates these monstrous belief systems -- so many people wanting to believe they have "the" answers. Ironically, the recent alien-themed Prometheus movie had a valuable (cinematically disappointing) lesson to teach: "there is nothing" (though there may be "more").

Aliens are as absent as gods -- pervasive in our consciousness yet physically intangible, we are led (or leading) into another age of misguided beliefs, filling a void of ignorance much further from our understanding of peace and prosperity. Another distraction. It's sad.
