Looks like a yet-fighter coming straight at you.
In all seriousness, I've had gray birds appear as "blurs" in my photos and some have even looked metallic as a result. This could indeed be the same phenomenon, but with the bird flying directly at the camera.
My fist thought was seagull but the scale is wrong for it's position in the sky. It should have been crisper at that size and clearly a seagull when enlarged.
I can't rule anything out, though, all I know is that my lens was clean and I was outside and there were no sounds other than the odd tweet. I take a lot of photos and can usually debunk my own anomalies but this one has me foxed.
Quoting: NightshadeI worked for a photographic studio for several years and have come across such things on occasion. In “low light” conditions you are much likely to get such a blurring effect with a moving object such as a bird. If it had been mid day, you would have “resolved” a moving object to a much higher degree.
