Gold hit $1365!
Wow.

Each day it's rocking to new heights. The people must be waking up and wanting a piece of the action after realizing it is not going down in the long term.

gold has been breaking records DAILY every single day this week!!!

I've been watching a lot of international tv news and they are the only ones REALLY discussing this....

The us mainstream are holding back reporting this info as not to alarm the sheeple.

Re: Gold hit $1365!
I see the POG as the clinical thermometer for the entire financial system.

Midas excerpt:

Infamous date in history.

To all; I know that many of you who read my musings are jumping up and down with joy today, Gold and Silver have exploded and the mining indices have FINALLY broken out above the level we reached way back in May of 2006. Happy days are here again, right? Well, my sentiments are "may God help us all"! The recent news of massive foreclosure fraud and thus the fact that the entire mortgage backed securities market is now not even suspect, it is hollow to the core, means that the ENTIRE Western world's banking system is GONE, KAPUT!

I wrote back in 2008, "It's Over" which in reality it was, the only remaining option at that point was for the Treasury to put it's less than pristine balance sheet in play which they did. Now there is nothing. Nothing at all that Treasury can do which leaves THE only possible policy option left on the table, the Fed MUST destroy in entirety the U.S.Dollar. The banks that were supposedly "saved" back in 2008 by TARP (which we humorously were told was "over" yesterday of all days!) are now MORE broke than they were back then! ALL of their mortgage securities and ALL of their "cross CDS swaps"with other banks who hold mortgage backed securities are now SMOKING BLACK EMPTY and HOLLOW HOLES OF DEFAULT, period!

The fact that paperwork has been lost and in some cases forged, mortgages have been sold 100 times over and may still exist in 50 different "mortgage pools" means that NO ONE, NOWHERE has any idea of who owns what! If you cannot put this 2+2 together then whatever evil smacks you in the face, you deserve! Debt underlies the entire Western banking system, debt of all shapes and forms is now tainted and infected no matter who the issuer is. By extension, the Dollar since it is a creation of debt is now beyond burnt toast, it is smoke!

We will look back at October 4th and 5th and see that these 2 days marked the beginning of the disastrous end of the Western debt based and thus fiat monetary system. Gold and Silver are just now opening their mouths and telling us this. But the stock market is up? Yes, there are those that believe the coming hyperinflation will be beneficial to stocks, I say maybe, maybe not. I still believe as history has shown in the past that an equity panic precedes the point in time where stocks go up because owners of cash dump it for anything and everything. In other words, ANYTHING is a better place for your capital than a currency that is going to zero.

Of course the biggest loser in all this because it is THE biggest market of all is the U.S. Treasury market. Gold and Treasuries CANNOT both go higher in the long run, I will say that the Treasury market is wrong and Gold is correct simply because one has a fraudulent government behind it and the other has Mother Nature and her natural laws behind it. When it comes to who you should trust, trust your gut sense that Mother Nature is not convoluted nor a fraud, she is neither.

So folks, do not jump for joy today as it will be seen in the future as the beginning of the end. It is the end of finance and business as we have all known it all of our lives. It is the end of the banking system, the end of the Dollar, the end of Treasuries, THE END OF PAPER ANYTHING! Go ahead, don't believe me. Go on as if nothing has happened. You WILL have lots of company in a hell called bankruptcy, poverty, hunger and just plain ignorance. If you cannot see it now after this hammer has come down, you will never see it nor will you see the sledgehammer of complete collapse that is about to hit everyone right between the eyes.

Do whatever you can if you have not already prepared, as fast as you can because when this game stops EVERYTHING stops. ATM's, banks, distribution, government services, etc. etc.. You will be on your own and you will only "have what you have" and nothing more. Make sure you "have" ..."enough"! Regards, Bill H.

Many mega-dumbasses think this is a bubble.

They don't realize that the gov't is printing ever-increasing sums of money that has to go SOMEWHERE. More and more of that INCREASE is going to gold because more and more of it is in the hands of RICH PEOPLE who DO NOT SPEND IT.

Precious metal bubble will not collapse until interest rates peak. During the last precious metal panic, gold & silver did not peak until interest rates hit 18%.

Yep, the dollar is going down daily. I watch the exchange rates drop here as well. The Philippine peso rate though, has not yet hit the low of ~40:1 during the 2008 plummet, but at this rate it will be another couple of weeks.

I feel a little uneasy though with moves like this everyday..kind of wish it would have a few down to sideways days now just to get everyone used to the pricing level.

Yes, but I don't think people are realizing (especially in the USA) that the dollar is going down just yet. I think they are starting to see gold as a good and safe investment.

The reason (in my opinion) it's going so high right now is because the markets outside of the USA are awake and seeing (and feeling) the effects of the dollar going down, and are going into gold.

Okay. So you are going to bet on jesus return happening right away right now and NOT taking care of yourself and your family's needs?

Good for you.

For me I am looking squarely at the fact that people have been anticipating many different kinds of apocalypse for so long as we have historical records. So... um... it might not happen by, like, next Tuesday.

There is a saying: "trust in God... but tether your camel"

You know?

Otherwise you end up being like the guy that trusts in God so he spends his whole paycheck on the lottery. And doesn't win. And then says its Gods will for him to be broke and on the street.

Trust in God. Await the rapture. But USE YOUR GOD GIVEN BRAIN and look after yourself and your family. And right now that means getting out of all fear-based financial instruments. It means rejecting fiat-economy principals and embracing things of inherent value... stuff you can hold in your hand. Food, medicines, some say guns and ammo but that's not for me, off-the-grid equipment and yes, certainly, precious metals.

You don't want to be taking handouts from strangers while you wait for Jesus. You want to be helping your family, your friends and strangers while you do that.

Or what?

It's kind of like the story about a guy standing in rising water, facing certain death, while praying to God...

As the water is reaching his waist, a person walks by and lets him know that there is a flood and he will drown. The guy responds he is praying to God to save him.

As the water reaches his neck, a person on a row boat paddles by and asks if he wants to get in the boat to escape the floodwaters. The guy responds that he is praying to God and God will save him.

As the guy is treading water, a person on a motor boat drives over to him and offers his hand to help pull him in the boat. The guy refuses saying he is praying to God to save him.

When the guy speaks to God, he asks "Why didn't you save me?!" God replies: "I tried, but you weren't listening. I sent a person before the flood, another in a rowboat, and the last one on a motor boat. I tried to save you 3 times but you said no."

At least.. the story is something along those lines =b

Lol, yeah, that's pretty much it.

We have been warned and warned and warned. We have been told what is coming, how it'll come and (more or less) when it will come. We have been told how to prepare. If we have eyes to see and ears to hear then we know everything we need to know.

Exactly like your little story.

And in case we have been doubting we have had the opportunity to see some of these things come to pass, to see the big changes developing and brewing. If you STILL deny a big world-changing event is coming then you are deeply in denial.

So now what. If you sit on your hands and wait to be saved then you are going to end up like dear ol' Blossom Goodchild waiting for her lightship not realising the lightship is already here, inside us. We ARE the ones we have been waiting for. Jesus IS in your heart.

Be the lightship.
Be the christ-light.
Be The One.

Be all of that right now. Enough waiting for someone from outside to come in and fix it for us.

Um. This thread was about the gold price, wasn't it? Sorry.

Clear evidence that the USA is manipulating its currency by creating economic crisis - justifying printing of trillions.

while the US dollar is 'eased' the rest of the world is squeezed.
