I don't really think she deserved to be sick since 2003 but I want to answer your question for the benefit of others. Every doctor and specialist through their hands in the air, and did not have a clue. Not one. I guess that should be the first sign. If the doctors don't have a clue, look at what you are ingesting.

OP, on top of poisoning herself, you said she lost weight after finally eliminating equal from her diet. how could a person continue using a so called diet aid, when they are gaining weight?

I don't have the answer on that. She told me this morning that she loved her equal. But I didn't know that she just started drinking it before she met me. I assumed she had been drinking it longer. I will go with your intelligent design thought though. Thanks!

Some manufacturers are mixing sugar with high fructose corn syrup in their snack products, like cookies and crackers. Guess they assume we'll think a little poison won't hurt us.

Just as a neat little experiment for your own information.
Make a list of all the food commonly eaten by your family on a regular basis and then cut out all the processed stuff for about a month or 2 and see what results you experience.
Soda pop, white bread, margarine, canola oil, white sugar, condiments and sauces, fast foods, snack foods, deli meats and sausages, etc, that kind of stuff.
You can find good lists on the internet.
Replace with whole, fresh, made from scratch foods that are definitely good (and there are many lists available with a little searching around)
You have heard all the claims and nay-sayers, so the only way to really "know" is to do the experiment for yourself and see the results.
You found out that the aspartame was a real detriment to the health and now you "know"...you have only just started to take back your health.
