The country of France is shutting down it seems: [ link to www.bloomberg.com] I think it is a good thing for the people to stick together and protest against their "leaders". Hopefully more nations follow suit. The consequences will NEVER be the same!  And of course more than just refining oil... " PARIS — The confrontation between the French government and unions over plans to reform the pension system intensified on Tuesday as transport and energy workers, teachers and civil servants went on strike across the country. Multimedia Unions in some sectors — including transport, ports and power — have toughened their stance, threatening to prolong the strikes.
