The timing of the NASA Admin's visit to China is interesting, with their moon probe on its way. I image there may have been some frank talk and fessing up to what NASA already know full well about what's up there. This is the second Chinese probe to the moon, so they must have seen stuff first time around. Perhaps there has been a deal made in the past that the Chinese didn't know about and risk upsetting.

Still thinking about "raising consciousness as a defense". That should point directly to the problem, but my imagination is coming up short. What sort of event would need such an action in order to defuse it?

Japan got one. In the above thinking, does that mean Jap/Chin/Korean etc originally came from Japan. Maybe?

 Quoting: BadHairDay

The Ainu (also called Ezo in historical texts) are the indigenous people or groups in Japan and Russia.

Full-blooded Ainu are lighter skinned than their Japanese neighbors and have more body hair.[21] Many early investigators proposed a Caucasian ancestry,[22] although recent DNA tests have not shown major genetic similarity with modern caucasian Europeans.

Genetic testing of the Ainu people has shown them to belong mainly to Y-haplogroup D2.[23] Y-DNA haplogroup D2 is found frequently throughout the Japanese Archipelago including Okinawa. The only places outside of Japan in which Y-haplogroup D is common are Tibet and the Andaman Islands in the Indian Ocean.[24]

In a study by Tajima et al. (2004), two out of a sample of sixteen (or 12.5%) Ainu men have been found to belong to Haplogroup C3, which is the most common Y-chromosome haplogroup among the indigenous populations of the Russian Far East and Mongolia.[23] Hammer et al. (2006) have tested a sample of four Ainu men and have found that one of them belongs to haplogroup C3.[25] Some researchers have speculated that this minority of Haplogroup C3 carriers among the Ainu may reflect a certain degree of unidirectional genetic influence from the Nivkhs, a traditionally nomadic people of northern Sakhalin Island and the adjacent mainland, with whom the Ainu have long-standing cultural interactions.[23]

The bold text is very interesting in the context of this discussion IMO
As long as man feels that he is the most important thing in the world, he cannot appreciate the world around him. He is like a horse with blinders; all he sees is himself, apart from everything else.

I'm not sure if this would be connected to the situation with BEZERK issue, but there was a very odd --never recorded before-- thing happened on 1 Sept 2010, 3km off shore of Kudaka Island, locating southern end of Japan, near Okinawa.
This is a very sacred island for Okinawa.

[link to ryukyushimpo.jp]

On 1 Sept, this maelstrom appeared out of nowhere. It's size was 5.5km.
Apparently it's appearance was due to Typhoon#7, but no concrete reason was given.

All women born on Kudaka island become shaman.
It applies only for females.

Kudaka Island shamans are still actively working and I've seen a docco on them some years ago.
When the women were receiving Gods messages into their beings, they start convulse violently, spitting some words of wisdom, some too hard to understand.

Their top shaman was serving the Okinawan kingdom for centuries.
In my memory, it was said that the kings always followed the words of shamans in decision making situations.

These shaman's NORITO (prayers) are said to hold oldest sound of Japanese language, which goes back to Jomon period such as 12000 years ago. Okinawans and Ainu are considered as indigenous people of Japan.

On Okinawa main island, the sacred places are placed along the coast line but they face to Kudaka Island, and men are not allowed to enter these sites. grouphug

This ad was running on CNN today. I saw it for the first time there and then Wolf Blitzer and some of the talking heads were discussing it so obviously it even got their attention. Though not related to the subject matter of this thread, I find the appearance of this ad at this time fairly interesting.

Where did everyone go? I'm starting to wonder if I'm even seeing the same content on these pages. Yesterday, I was on this page, page 8, and at the bottom of the page was a link to page 9. I click on the page 9 link, and it takes me to page 1. WTF? I go back to page 8, and now the link to page 9 is gone. Again, WTF?
Now, it looks like other than the guy posting the chinese video, no one has posted since last night? Very odd for a thread that was going like this one.
Is anyone there??

Still here. I delete posts to keep the number of pages down to a minimum, so it is easier to follow. Most of the lurkers here contribute and lurk more at the Bezerk thread.

Update:
Based on information I have received recently, I have to believe that war has begun behind the scenes, and unless something changes, that soon everyone will know about it.
Watch for ads and news stories that portray China as a threat. Then watch for something much worse than 911 to make every red-blooded American want to go get revenge.
That Astute incident was the Chinese. The west now knows the Chinese have technology that can sink any sub anywhere. Both sides have secret technology and toys that are being employed, and used. Certain secret satellites and surveillance grids - going going gone.
There is a good chance the new toys China has received from its 'friends' will mean that the war will be over without the public ever knowing about it. If so, you will see ads and news stories praising everything Chinese, as we emerge into a new world order of global governance and interaction with China's new incoming friends.

My simplistic view of it at present is like this:
You have one big farmer with his big farm full of animals; and another big farmer with his big farm full of animals.
They had an arrangement to coexist and eventually merge farms and herds.
Suddenly one farmer gets given new information, which means he doesn't really need to stick to the previous arrangement. Its all going to be his sooner or later, all he has to do is wait.
The other farmer knows this, and is wondering whether to go in now using his last chance with force, in order to protect his future interests. He's thinking he's got nothing to lose ... even though he knows he won't win ...
And as you can see - neither farmer ever wants his animals to suddenly wake up and take control of their own lives ...

The thing about China is that they do not have force projection capacity like the US. They have a relatively small fleet, one carrier. They have a lot of troops, but they are low quality, and basically landlocked.

And they are surrounded by Russia, Japan and India.

Now even if they has the most amazing technologies in the world, that does not mean victory. Compare the Taliban and the USA. Or Vietcong and the USA. The USA had all the toys, but lost.

China does not have the capacity to physically occupy much of the world.

The power of China is WAYYY overstated IMO.

Up until a few weeks ago, I had exactly the same point of view.
I do not believe that China is going to be an overt or active aggressor in all this - but who knows anymore. It is the west who has been planning war with China for some time. Until recently I assumed that it was by 'mutual consent'.
The Astute incident was a demonstration that China can now remotely cripple/disable or sink any sub anywhere. I am trying to find out if the same technology can be applied to ships, planes or satellites. I suspect it can. Maybe that's why the UK has decided not to build more naval ships.

Japanese government is now considering to change their weapon-shipping law.
The direction was decided 22 Oct 2010.

It was originally intended to say NO to the shipments to

1) COMMUNIST COUNTRIES
2) The countries where the UN is stopping
3) The countries where the war is on going

This was back in 1967.
(Then it was changed in 1976 to ease it to the USA.)

The decision would be made at the end of this year, but once it's agreed, Japan can start collaborating weapon developments and shipping of weapons with countries such as China, and even North Korea.
This is a full on change!! dead3

Geithner gives the US economy to China on a silver platter

[link to www.examiner.com]

...China did not have to twist arms or play hard to get. They led Mr. Geithner step by step until he could not resist the power play he displayed during the G20 meeting...
...China accepted the free offer without disagreement or opposition because they know that from now on they can continue to grow and diversify their economy and that the only thing Mr. Geithner and President Obama really focus on are the distorted trading figures they will present to the American worker under the new slogan of “Yes we can and we did, sort of”....
...Mr. Geithner singlehandedly sold out Main Street over the weekend while convincing every American that they should and would be protected. Overseas jobs will not return to the US now that the deal is sealed, on the contrary, every American will inherit a tsunami of inflation that they will not be able to absorb due to reduced spendable income.

I was researching the wall last night and it seems to be primarily granite. Granite's composition is mainly Silicon Dioxide and Aluminum Oxide:

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

SiO2 — 72.04%
Al2O3 — 14.42%

The first, Silicon Dioxide, is not conductive to electricity.

The second, Aluminum Oxide, is approximately 65% conductive for its mass to electricity.

Is the wall built from things other than granite and dead Chinese laborers?
 Quoting: Philippines

This may have already been stated so please excuse me if it has, but SiO2 is quartz crystal and quartz crystals do infact store energy ala pietzo crystal. When compressed, a pietzo crystal will act like a amplifier.

I've just started following this thread, very interesting so far.

Superbugs causing worry in U.S.

Superbugs are on the move.

The KPC bacterium (short for Klebsiella pneumoniae Carbapenemase) has proven to be stubbornly resistant to pretty powerful antibiotics -- and increasingly worrisome to U.S. doctors and healthcare.

"Although the number of infections is small, the fact that so many places are seeing KPCs is very concerning," Dr. Robert Weinstein told the Chicago Tribune. That newspaper offers a local look at what has the potential to become a national problem. Read the full story at "Drug-resistant bacterium raises alarms in Chicago."

This particular superbug made its U.S. debut in North Carolina more than a decade ago and has since been discovered in 35 states.

China: More proactive diplomacy

Communique shows government making greater efforts to overcome 'foreseeable and unforeseeable risks and challenges'
The eagerly anticipated Fifth Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) concluded on Oct 18. Apart from addressing some major domestic issues, the Communique sent a clear message to China watchers that its diplomacy is changing from a reactive approach to a proactive approach.

<snip>

The adjustment of Chinese foreign policy as a consequence demonstrates China's active participation in international affairs and the transition from rule taking to rule making. [emphasis added]

These changes are not only reflected in Beijing's diplomatic practice. Noticeably, for the first time in such an important document, the Communiqu of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee highlights this proactive spirit.

Yes - interesting that this rare earth news is getting all the attention just recently. I spotted it months ago being mentioned in various financial mainstream circles. And again even earlier when China tried to buy the huge mining companies that had secured rights to mind rare-earth elements.
I guess it is just now being realised by the average punter, that China has the future of the hi-tech world by the balls. No corporation making laptops, ipads, computers, mobile phones, or weapons systems etc - will be able to survive in manufacturing, unless it starts grovelling to China from now on.
War with China IS coming - and the west will be the aggressor. Keep watching for how they are going to sell and justify this to the sheeple.
Better still, pray for peace, to whatever god you hold dear.

Today, the Japanese satellite Michibiki successfully cleared all the tests to receive signals.

It's said that the aim is to cover the areas where American GPS system failed in Japan, and it would start to be used March 2011 onwards.

They are trying to establish a Japanese (Asian) original system that would work independent from the American GPS, even when the use of American GPS would be hindered.

Once the Asian GPS is established, it becomes more easy to use combat-drones with precision, I guess.

Japan and Vietnam (and it's said that Indonesia would also will be involved in at later date) formed a tie to deal with development of materials that replace rare-earth and rare-metal.

Failure Shuts Down Squadron of Nuclear Missiles

Oct 26 2010, 4:36 PM ET 19
President Obama was briefed this morning on an engineering power failure at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming that took 50 nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), one-ninth of the U.S. missile stockpile, temporarily offline on Saturday.

The base is a main locus of the United States' strategic nuclear forces. The 90th Missile Wing, headquartered there, controls 150 Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic nuclear missiles. They're on full-time alert and are housed in a variety of bunkers across the base.
