This is that the sun and its recent increased solar activity has been the direct cause of these events. The solar material is channelled through our poles which usually protect the earth and its lifeforms from such events. However because of the recent constant solar activity the Earth is starting to heat up from the extra energy it is receiving from the sun which is being channelled to the earth's core by our protective magnetic fields. This is heating up the core while at the same time having a consequent increase of energy release in the earth's mantle at the weakest points.
