Do you believe the lies about 'working harder'

Working 'hard' is the quickest route to being the richest man in the graveyard.

I believe it's about working smarter, not harder.

Due to that old school mentality still lingering in the workplace.. employes are still evaluated on stupid things.. like being precisely on time, and generating numbers, rather that more abstact contributions. Mainly because the supervisor mentality.. too stupid to percieve anything that can't be measured directly and easily.

Hence, the "look busy the boss is coming" attitude. Just keep busy with SOMETHING, even if you're inefficient.. just to keep busy.


Keep doing the same repetitive routine the way you've always done, which could be automated, because therin lies your "job security" don't try to eliminate steps to become more efficient because you might become "obsolete" or outhink yourself out of a job.
