The Simpson's are Protestant's. Well Marge seems to be the only devout one.

Homer and Bart don't care and Lisa is a Buddist convert.

A few years ago there was a pretty good episode where Bart was expelled and the only school that would take him was a Catholic school.

Homer and Bart decide to convert to Catholicism and Marge, Rev. Lovejoy, and Ned Flanders race to stop them because Catholic heaven is full of drunken Irish compared to the Wasp'y Protestant heaven.

Weird... I always thought they were Protestant. Their church services were done by Reverend Lovejoy. Catholics have priests, or Fathers.
