History Channel - Swamp People

Anyone else think that the History channel and others are actually setting up for future possibilities of animal extinction? Think about it. They show this program, show how the hillbillys are making money. Someone out of work or thinking about doing the same thing for cash decides to do it, and within a few years, we have the same setup as loggers did to old growth forests.

I find these shows disturbing.

Nah, the gator season is fairly short so they aren't killing 20 gators each day. Each hunter gets a certain number of tags so they hang the bait were only the big'uns can reach, sparing the younger ones. Reptiles multiply fast and there are millions of gators in the swamps and bayous down there.

Yes, but with core exit in the water... how long will that last, or for that matter the people? Also, with a sudden rise in people going down there or engaging in the activity for $$$$ as a last hope, I can see things getting out of hand.

I agree this is truly the dumbing of America
Sad that history channel a once great channel with great programming
has succumbed to these fat inbred hicks having a show. Then these homo erectises put their dog in gator infested water where are the animal cops.
