Thanks for making the task harder for individuals that cite your work as a reference for SHTF in the Gulf to be gone. You have made our lives difficult.

I wanted to add that what got me started in deleting all my accounts was a premonition that Jon Stewart will be shot twice in the chest.

Back when I had the premonition I thought it very strange that a comedian will be killed like that, but now seeing where he is going with political rallies and all, the premonition makes sense.

When people are killed for just having thoughts, that’s the time to stop thinking aloud.

This may end up being a good thing for you. With all your accounts deleted and apparently all ties to the "system" broke (by you losing your job) your free to start out fresh, with a new persona. Your job probably just held you back, making you afraid to upset those "superior" to you.
Like mentioned above, you could be like Jesus and not give a fuck about the system and just wander around preaching the truth.

Greg, something I didn't understand about you and others who were reporting the Gulf disaster was the lack of common sense.

Priority No. 1 is HEALTH. Without it, we are 'done'. I saw you picking stuff without globes, without proper equipment to take care of your lungs, skin, etc.

It looked to me that you thought that 'superheros' don't wear protection, and you are right, but don't forget that superheros are fantasy. Human beings do need to take care of health.

You seem to be angry at 'people' for not caring enough, but I wonder, did you cared enough about your own health?. Did you ask yourself: "I am risking my health, my financial stability and my life in general...what for?".

It sounds to me that you are 'punishing' everybody (including the ones who supported you) by removing your research/work. Is it fair for you and your supporters?...do you think it is worthy?.

Sometimes it is not the world that is so fucked up, Greg. Sometimes, as hard as it could be for us to accept, what's fucked up are our priorities.

I totally agree w/OP's feelings.

I also got sick of trying to discuss/debate/inform online. When you have to run a gauntlet of trolls -- basement boys who plant themselves in forums and live there sucking up to some people and trolling others to create drama and attention day after day -- who needs that?

The Internet has a never ending supply of losers and stalkers, and it's not a real good place for free speech anymore.
