I will refute your alleged claims of finding evidence that the Koran orders Muslims to kill Christians respectively, although I doubt that you have really found anything or have an idea about the quotes you have quoted. The first verse you cited to prove that "the Koran orders the killing of Christians" is:

Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not. (2: 216)

To the readers who have remaining vestiges of sense I ask this question, where in this verse does Allah say (kill the Christians), or any other? Al-Qitaal, which has been enjoined, means fighting or warfare, not killing. There is a world of difference between enjoinment to participate in war (where both sides are present) against the enemy, and to kill a certain group (where one party takes the other unawares) as some claim.

More importantly, why was this verse revealed? One difference which distinguishes the Koran from other revelations is that while all of them were revealed in one time to their prophets, the Koran was revealed in portions, a verse or a group of verses for a specific occasion. For this the Koran is a very educational Book since its verses are tied to real events. To deliver this huge educational heritage, the companions and the followers who came after the prophet established a branch of knowledge called "asbab al-nuzul" through which they gathered all the narrations from the mouths of eye witnesses on the causes or events behind the verses, verified the narratives and graded them: authentic, good, weak, etc.

What is the sabab nuzul of this verse? When the Muslims migrated to Madinah, other enjoinments ensued and the ban on fighting was lifted by the revelation of the verse "Fighting is enjoined upon you…"'
