Scratch off lottery tickets !!! Anyone ever buy a whole ROLL

Never bought the entire roll as I don't know how much it would be. But I bought 50 $1 tickets off the same role once and made $25 profit. But you never know which 50 your gonna get

The average roll pays 150, and costs 300....unless you hit something bigger than 100 within the roll....

No, but I did buy some scratch and sniff lottery tickets.....and I lost!

Never buy more than $20 off of any roll...if you want to spend $100....hit 5 rolls...look online for prizes left and the odds....

hit different stores too.. increases the odds.

The more neon flashy the tickets the more dead ones they print.

In the Texas lottery the amount of guaranteed minimum prizes/pack are listed on their site for each game. Most will cost you slightly more than the minimum, so in most cases you will lose a little bit. BUT the higher priced the tickets, the better your odds at hitting a big one which will make it all worth your while. the big question is; do you really have that much discretionary income to just piss away? If not, call the hotline number on the back of the tickets and get some help. Like all gambling, these games are always rigged in favor of the house, usually three to one or four to one, which lets you win a little something back just often enough to keep you playing. If you lose to much you quit buying into the game...and they just can't have that.

Bought a roll of $2 tickets the first day they came out.
Actually made about $150 over what we paid. Supposedly you will at least break even - but I wouldn't trust those stats.

EACH LOT HAS A CODE AND THE CODE HAS A VALUE.ONLY 6% HAS A VALUE MORE THAN THE COST.THIS IS A AVERAGE OF STATE LOTTERY.

I have been having fairly good luck lately with tickets. I have been checking odds online and also the payout odds heres what I have found so far to pay out half decently.

Seems like I should at least get half the money back.

Im in PA and the goldbar crossword has a lot of $100 dollar winners and I figure there has to be at least 1 or 2 in each roll.


I only buy the beginning 5 and last 6 or 7 from $3 and $2 dollar tickets. $1 tickets dont have very good odds to play.

Trying to do the best research I can to no lose as much money.

Plus if i do this it would def cure me of my itch for lottery tickets lately if things turn out poorly.

Oh also if I did buy a whole roll it would either be $2 or $3 dollar tickets. That way you get more tickets = more chances for a winner.

heck even a free ticket is 2/3 dollars back.

You never actually win HUGE on the lottery. Its a taxation scam, think about it. Do you know anyone (after all these years) relative, friend, who is a friend, cousin, uncle etc of anyone who's won "big" in terms of millions?

Of course not. The big winners are already millionnaires or unrecognised share holders. They just keep the scam going to make us sheeple think we can "cash-in" on their profits while they laugh their way to the bank.

Afterall the Camelot logo has 6-6-6 in it.

I seen a ticket last week ($20) ticket where he won 50k. it was the first one on the roll numbered 000. It was really cool seeing that.

This is something I always wanted to do and I think I am going to do it.

OP your gonna lose more in the end...I wouldn't do it.

diversify... buy a bunch of different kinds, from different stores.

you can increase your odds slightly by doing some of the above suggestions. However, you are still going to lose in the end. Unless you get lucky the first couple times. Then they will probably get you for even more.

I know of (2) people that one a Million $ on scratch offs.

One was a young guy that claimed it cursed him and made his family mad at him, the other was the mother of an acquaintance I had, I never saw her again after her mom won it, so I don't know what happened to her mom.

I do buy a scratch off every now and then.

When I clerked at store , would check the lottery ticket numbers and pay outs for scratch tickets. No winners on a roll for 20 odd tickets I would buy the next seven or so tickets. It put a few extra hundred in my pocket every week, fuck the customers they don't deserve shit

yea, i did,about broke even,so cashed in all the tickets and did it again and again til i eventually lost it all, waste of time and the cashier at the 7/11 was pissed,lol.

at least with the lottery you got a chance at getting something back, what the fuck do you get back from every other tax scam ?
