Quoting: Know it all's better halfLast year by this time that same store was picked clean. The employee that placed that large of an order is sure to be fired! It may be they ordered the same as usual, but due to the depression, people are skipping the $30-$50 costumes and making their own at home. When the sales numbers come in, alarm bells will be ringing warnings about upcoming Christmas sales based on dismal Halloween sales. ![]() Depression, er I mean Recession is over! They had them aside the walkway near the costumes with excellent visibility. I was the only person purchasing any in the 20 minutes that I was in the Halloween department. And I bought the kit kats because they had been marked on sale 2 for 5 bucks. All of those giant bags of multi candies people bought last year to give out for trick or treat sit unsold this year at a price of $7-$10 a bag. I'm willing to bet the trick or treat loot this year will be half of years prior. |

Not doing "my part" to get us out of this Depression, am I? I'll probably buy a bag of marshmallow bunnies for Easter, too. NO candy canes...I hate candy canes. |
