I have a friend is pulling away from me as well as others. I happen to be closest to her so I am keenly aware of a few other components of the situation that some of the others are not.

She's sought out help from many professional over the last many years without any success. In some cases she became worse.

I think she is giving up. She says she doesn't want to see anyone, do anything but just to be left alone.


I am very concerned. She is isolating herself more and more.

She came over to my house unexpected the other night , of course, I was glad to see her out and about , but I had a feeling of foreboding that I could not shake. We talked and visited for a couple of hours it seemed like old times, but I couldn't shake the vibe I was getting from her.

Ya,ll, all I can tell you is that the friend I knew for 12 years is gone. It's easy to tell that someone running down the street but naked at 2 am sans for a trash pail over their head is crazy,,,,,,but what about someone who does none of these crazy antics but still needs professional help.

She no longer makes eye contact and she appears very fidgety and afraid. She asked to stay the night so I let her, but she left sometime during the night without leaving a note.

I think I'm too close to the situation to be very effective.

The level at which we experience and express this form of stimulation from others varies from person to person and from time and the actual moment itself.

Human emotion is meant to feel sad and empty from the loss of another. Its part of life. Most often suppressed,ignored and avoided at all costs.
