Its good that they are though we should be diverting ALL fucking money from wars and bullshit to setup some protection against asteroids.
Its the biggest threat to this planet more than anything else and it would be a hit and miss chance method to try to do anything about it.
Because we might not have that much time.

They have been preparing us for years......

No actually they haven't they haven't prepared at all we have not yet even attempted to destroy an asteroid only a satellite.
Which is a bit of a different story we should be practicing to destroy some because if one comes out of nowhere we might only have 1 chance to deflect/destroy it.

I consider all the movies they put out, as warning to everyone, that this could happen.
Do we really know what goes on behind closed doors of our government and NASA. They could have been practicing for years, we would never know:)
