Suspected al-Qaeda militants blow up oil pipeline in Yemen

Sana'a, Yemen - Suspected al-Qaeda members on Tuesday blew up an oil pipeline in the southern Yemeni province of Shabwa, local officials said.

Security forces have launched an operation to find the group's bomb-maker.

The officials said an explosive device went off under the pipeline in a desert area around 25 kilometres east of Ataq city, the provincial capital of Shabwa. ......
