Anonymous Coward User ID: 1148390 United States 11/03/2010 01:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We tried term limits to fix this shit in Washington state. The fuckers went to court and had it declared unconstitutional. It passed with a huge majority of the citizens voting to enact term limits for our congressional reps. Seems voting didn't work. Quoting: Evil TwinA huge majority of the ~15% who could be bothered to put on pants and leave the basement. Yeah gloss over the fact that the voice and will of the citzens of the state of Washington were ignored and discounted. Those folks voted lotta good it did them. The voice and will of Washington stayed home and silent, just like they've done for 60+ years. Congratulations. Washington state's 2008 General Election broke a voter turnout record that had stood since World War II. Counties certified election returns Tuesday that showed that an all-time record of 84.61 percent of the state's 3.63 million registered voters cast ballots this year. [link to www.sos.wa.gov] You really should do a bit of research first before making statements that are totally off base and not based in fact and only serve the function of TRYING to make your point. 84.61 percent is pretty fucking high. |

I jumped 6 years ago now. The view from here is quite entertaining. True liberty, once lost, is never recovered from the ballot box. There are many ways to skin a cat....some much less "ugly" than others... Yet, you're paying taxes on a US internet provider. V-O-L-U-N-T-A-R-I-L-Y by thoughtful choice....IE NOT at gunpoint. Get it? Nevertheless, please point out anywhere in history or otherwise where liberty, once lost, was regained at the ballot box? LMAO...like they won't collecta t gunpoint if you choose to not volunteer. As for liberty being regained at the ballot box, it might actually happen if the other 80% of you got off your asses. I reckon you'll keep doing exactly nothing though. |

Quoting: Evil TwinJump, frog. i don't get it. W T F did you expect? some other-worldly outcome more to your liking? what were you looking for? I'm pretty pleased with the election outcome. A shitload of incumbent crooks are going home. Yes but here is the problem mod. The crooks are being replaced by more crooks. 2008 most voted dem thinking change would come and our country got worse. 2010 everybody changes to rep thinking change will come, and all that will happen is this country will get worse. I voted, but I know it doesnt really matter anymore cause the real good people are poor and cant afford to run, and the really bad people are rich and are running. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. We all know the only thing that will save us is for this country to fall and fall hard. This is the only way I can see to break the strings of the puppet masters! I know a lot will perish, but it is the only way to reset the power and wipe out the wealthy. Yes, "they" won't collect anything from me at gunpoint, because I don't volunteer. You might should look into that little gem of truth. I'm doing quite the opposite of nothing, just not perpetuating the myth that we are involved in a representative republic by casting a vote between criminals. |

Quoting: Evil TwinThe same way we said it would work out before polls opened, you jackass. It's all a big game, it's a play and they read the lines given to them. If you think voting actually matters, you're the retard. Now the republicans will do the same thing the democrats did, ruin the country until we are so desperate that we accept the NWO. But as a Mason you obviously know all this already. So you are simply a traitor to America and an asshole as a human being. Fuck you. |
