Don't know if anyone has brought this up yet (haven't read the whole thread), but the connection with Crowley raises some very important issues.

Namely FLESH AND BLOOD SACRIFICE.

This usually happens prior to a huge payout of the Beast to award fame and fortune upon those who offer the sacrifice.

Crowley was key.
It may be that the real paul was sacrificed for the benefit of the rest of those involved with the Beatles. Not saying John, George, and Ringo did this, but others who remain behind the scenes and unknown to the general masses.

In Crowley's way of thinking, death is just a transition to another 'plane of existence' and nothing to be shunned at all...

Possibly the real Paul was against doing anything in the way of an offering to the Beast and perhaps was even going to blow the whistle on the whole idea...

And so he was chosen as the offering...
