I have friends who complain about what some big corporations are doing to degrade our Earth. I know them well so I can ask them what they contribute to better the husbandry of the place that we all call home - Earth.

I have helped build compost bins for a number of people and it is cool to see them develop a lasting interest.

However, in many cases they do nothing. I've suggested that one simple thing they can do is to use cloth bags when grocery shopping. Interestingly that is the most disagreeable & I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's not masculine.

If you get upset with companies like BP or litter floating in the ocean or any environmental crime, ask yourself what you do.

However small, it is a contribution and it adds up.

It's cool to here what people are doing.

I don't expect this thread to last long, but while it is active I hope it changes the habits of a few.
