I almost never drive my car. I ride my bike everywhere because I just really don't like driving that much, especially in cities. I even rode my bike 60 miles to Washington DC last weekend. It was such an awesome experience.

I also compost and recycle most of my waste. I'm unemployed, but taking over my parents small organic blueberry farm this year. I recently quit my job because I wanted to help out on the farm and I've become more conscious of how wasteful and consumerist my life had become. All I want to do anymore is seek inner peace through meditation and a healthy lifestyle.

It's strange because i don't really care all that much about the environment, because I think we're pretty fucked anyway, but I've just had less of a desire to acquire possessions and more of a desire to seek spiritual enlightenment. The materialist world is obviously dying and I can't wait for it to fall. Everyone should prepare for this eventuality. We will learn to cherish and preserve the earth or we will perish.
