Passenger Train Crushed By Cement Mixer

A COMMUTER train was crushed yesterday and five people injured after a cement mixer lorry fell 20ft from a bridge.


One passenger was trapped for more than four hours with a ­broken back.

The lorry driver was said to be in a “serious condition” by British Transport Police, who led the dramatic rescue. An eyewitness said he had been dangling in his upside-down cab on top of the train carriage.
