Its on again and so loud, I can't stand the silence anymore, I need sound. Its very high pitched now.

I had to come on to post..
I was watching a movie tonight with the family, and started hearing it super loud. It went on for a few and got so loud that i got up to look for a source. When i did this, my daughter asked me if i was looking for what was making that high pitched kind of morse code sound... um wtf?
I asked her if she could hear it and she said that she has heard it for over a week on and off and was wondering what it was.... weird

oh, and, we went so far as to turn the movie off and unplug everything in this apartment in an attempt to find the source. The sound was still there
