Why you should not eat eggs

I happen to live in a Mennonite area as well. Great little farms!

Is it impossible for vegetarians and vegans to NOT be self-righteous? Why should any of us care how long you've given up meat?

Just think, going back a million or more years, out of your entire line of ancestors, you are almost certainly the only one to go without meat: 20 years vegetation / 1,000,0000+ years omnivorous. Is that something to be proud of or worried about?

And wasn't that an overly severe reaction to factory farms? Wouldn't it have been more rational and sane to start buying organic food raised on local farms?

Im so glad I went vegetarian just recently...After watching the documentary called The Cove about dolphin meat, I just couldnt eat meat anymore

I was fine eating eggs and cheese and no meat, but after seeing that vid from the OP, eggs are totally out for me..

Wish I was ruler of the world. I would change the policies of factory farming, Its very cruel.

I live near a veal farm, and small young calves are chained to a igloo like dog house with little room to move as it would make their meat tough if they were allowed to exercise, They are taken away from their mothers early and live out a short life so we may eat veal.

We will one day move out of cities and into village like living where we all can locally grow and slaughter our own meat with animals living out a good life.

Villages make much more sense, and will forge community prosperity and social happiness

I think large cities was a big mistake, If something happened and the grocery truck doesnt come in to make a delivery at the store, were screwed.

thats the problem in this world the lack of wisdom , knowledge and understanding of too many have to be suffered by the intelligent and understanding few

So why did nature make them able to form a pecking order and run and feel fear and congregate together in familiarity if allowed to socialize if they didnt have some form of feeling and emotion?

If you lived on a humane farm or household that had a yard, Youd observe that they want to live some form of life, just like we do..

I live near free roaming chickens and you can tell when they are happy or alarmed, They form social bonds.
