couldn't agree more. over the course of the summer and fall i've become addicted to things like this and websites/forums like these. ultimately it's served as nothing more than a distraction from reality.

waiting for absolutely nothing to happen on the 14th so i can move on with my life, and seriously to return to feeling happier, secure, and in control of my own destiny...

2) A future of slowly declining resources, corrupt government, breadlines, grey dreary skies, and layer upon incremental layer of new rules and regulation of everyday life.

Most of us recognize out of the two options that only the first gives a chance of rebirth any time soon, this is why we hope for apocalypse inside.

Unfortunately, the second option seems to be playing out. Maybe it turns out that the status quo political situation is stable enough to be maintained during long-term decline. I sure hope not.

...honest to God, you summed that up beautifully...so many feel so utterly hopeless in this cesspool of government corruption...it just feels like it won't get better.

As much as i want nothing to happen on the 14th so i can go back to a somewhat normal life. I just have a feeling this one is going to be it... If its something that alarms my parents, then i'll know its the tipping point because they dont see anything thats in current news as a disaster in the making, they think its just the way of the world and life goes on.... I hope something happens to wake there asses up is all. But if nothing happens, i'll be releived and i can go back to work and start paying that debt off... Shit, come on finacial DOOM!
