I KNOW this works....

Go to their shop with 3-4 squid in an unsealed plastic bag and place them in an inaccessable spot like behind wall racks or such. Much better if you slide them behind a machine that gives off heat. I can gaurantee the smell will be intolerable and almost impossible to remove within two days. If they live next door drop the squid down in their dryer vent. More fun than a barrel of monkeys for all ages.
