Cannabis Legal in California now kinda - some anecdotes and stylings
I was just thinking: Before the California elections, Arnold decriminalized marijuana. This was BEFORE the prop 19 vote. So, now in California, if caught with up to 2 ounces of sherm (if your not a medical patient), it's a $50 fine (like a traffic ticket)

When you appraise this, you see right there that in a way means Cannabis is legal. They are basically relenting to the fact that it's in anyone's hands that would like to puff, the dispensaries are doing well, and some are top shelf operations. You should see harborside medical in Oakland.

So, basically anyone without a medical card that has two ounces or less and gets busted, it's $50, and have a nice night. The only legality not allowed by this back door way is selling it of course.

Most people here in California do the proper thing and get the medical card. It's making doctors, hospitals, and the state of California a fortune in taxes folks. Last year alone, I went to my dispensary and the final tallies were out from city hall, and San Francisco City ALONE... not the whole county but just the city of San Francisco collected 1.2 million dollars from taxes on Medical Cannabis.

It's not really necessary to legalize it. It's fine the way it is I think. It's just my opinion, and people came down on the growers really bad over prop 19, saying that the greedy medical growers wanted it illegal so they can reap huge profits through the dispensaries. But, it is very very difficult to grow bud to the level that is in this medical shops here folks. Some dispensaries here even use Gas Freaking Chromatography to check product they by for mold, any residues, etc, and they have all active ingredient labeling...like THC 16.5%, CDB 12.5%, etc..

If you legalize it thought, guess who moves in? The Phillip Morris equivalent of Marijuana growers... you guessed it BIG Tobacco style. ALL the incredible knowledge of the mendocino growers blown up, everyone ran out... all mom and pop awesome boutique growers gone. Just some watered down 420 in a filter down at Joe's liquor store behind the Camel's loaded with 1000 chemicals.

No thanks. I want bud to stay EXACTLY what is is. Rare, Righteous, a Sacrament, and for the discerning. It's for swirling in wine glasses...not for the corner mart. :) :) :)

Some of my NorCal favorite strains? I am an Indica girl only. Sativas make me jumpy and nervous.

Here we go:
Grandaddy Purple (do you guys know this strain was INVENTED in Mendocino?)
Purple Urkel (GDP's father)
White Rhino (Yes this is back and it is spectacular)
Purple Princess (wonderful)
Af-Goo (a heavy couch lock indica...perfect for severe back pain, beats developing a Xanax and Valium addiction all to hell)
OG Kush - them L.A. guys love this. and L.A. Confidential - too Sativa for me. makes me stay up all night and walk around my apartment thinking up schemes.

So I digress... but in a way Arnold made it legal, but the state gets to collect money through citations. They are going to make a bunch of money on $50 tickets. Probably enough for the budget and they didn't have to address the legality issue. Strange bedfellows forming here over the issue, and once again, it's money, and in the end, as soon as it gets "INC." behind it, it's all over but the crying.

So if you are in California or any other Medical Cannabis state, smoke 'em if you got 'em. This IS the golden age of Cannabis right now folks. I have been inside dispensaries that were more like Buddhist Temples. Take heed and be wide open in this moment.

Preferably with TOOL at high volume.

Till next time.
