Uggg....that has me in tears. No way is anyone touching my kids. My boys want to go on an airplane so bad. Unfortunately, that might be a dream that never comes true because I refuse to put them through that violation.

Go down to a local airfield and see how much to have a private pilot take them up for a short flight, im sure it would be much more enjoyable than sitting on a passenger plane.

Canceled all vacation plans and I will not allow my children to go through such a thing. I spent the last ten years teaching all of my kids that absofrickinglutely no one touches you down there and I have ZERO intention on changing that or going back on my word... I simply will not put them in that position and the airlines will lose my business airfare as well as my leisure...

Here at one of our local airfields, they have free plane rides for kids one weekend every JUne. Took my 3 yo and 6 yo up for a ride and they loved it. Cessna 172

Last I checked, not many 3 year olds have caused any planes to crash

You can charter a prop plane for a few hundred bucks for a couple of hours. Kids get a better view, since you only go up a few thousand feet, and no cavity search.

Cessna 172? They still around? I took my son and daughter when they were 11 and 12 on a ride from Linden Airport and we flew around NYC at about 1500 feet. I got some nice pics of the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. The trip took a half hour and it cost me $30. The pilot was just looking for tac time so we got a real bargain. Now you can't fly around NYC without all kinds of clearances and at 1500 feet? fugedaboudit. This was back in 1976 on July 4th.

I refused two expense payed trips to Cali, for my own son's wedding. I will miss the wedding, but I refuse to be a part of this high BS. The wife is too sick to endure a driving trip. I refuse to watch a TSA joker shove his hand between my wifes legs or twist her tits. So, in essence, I'm opting out on my own.
