Strange broadcast warning just now.

Sounds like a warning alright but not to the public OP.

It completely tripped me out. I have a bad feeling now because it was just so weird. That shit doesn't just happen. Someone made it do that.

I am getting freaked out about what has been going on lately.


We lost control of our missles for 45 minutes.
The missle off the Calif Coast.
Now finding that the Chinese re-routed so much of the internet for 18 minutes.

I am very worried.

Well it went off at like 4:40 am PST so I know regular people are sleeping and not paying attention.

I have DirectTV and about a week ago there was one of those emergency messages for Santa Barbera - I live in Texas, and that it was just a test. Thought it was pretty weird.

How do you know it was Walter Cronkite? You just happened to recognize the quote? Or you just think the voice sounds like him? What?

It was his actual voice, recorded and played back and he signed off on it. I googled it and I guess it was a famous quote of his from the Vietnam war.

These warnings happen maybe once a month but this was the first time I had heard it "hijacked".

It wasn't normal.

It was as if someone hijacked the warning system and slipped the recording in there. Who would do that? Why that quote??

Totally irrelevant but I have to say this. Your moose avatar reminds of Jay Kay from Jamiroquai. Ok, I've finished now, we return you to previously scheduled programming.

In the last year or so I have noticed more of the emergency alert system coming on the radio. But most are different than the usual "This is a test......". They interrupt the program, have the tones, and then back to the show. No "this is a test....", and much shorter than the usual test. The one's that I have seen on the TV have the scroll of "this is a test..." and are not as frequent as on the radio. If I turn on the TV when the radio is doing it there is just regular programming on the TV.

The "Sheeple" part of me says it is just routine testing, or someone pressed a button somewhere mistakenly.

The "tinfoil" part of me says it is conditioning.

Somewhere in the middle maybe?

I have been keeping an eye on that 3 gorges dam.

"What I saw next was unimaginable flooding. I was in foreign land that I quickly deduced was China. Old mother said we need to go up there to see what is about to happen. He was gone and the newspaper I looked at had the headline ‘Walter Cronkite – The Most Trusted Man in America Passes Away’. I looked at old mother and asked what the significance of what I witnessed is? She said ‘When Walter Cronkite passes within three hundred thirty three days a great catastrophe will befall the Chinese people’. ‘When this catastrophe happens it will mark the beginning of Mother Earth’s vengeance upon the evils of mankind’.
