If some terrorist blew up a Monday Night Football game would you support body scanners at all NFL stadiums?

Isn't it time we stopped worrying about the ONE thing that concerns us instead of worrying about the bigger picture?

Thank you OP This the first time I have voted in 45 years where all of my votes WON. I hope and pray the American people will overule the invasion of our rights, by the goverment that we suposedly elected.

Stadiums are different. They are an event that are owned, operated and used by private corporations and private citizens.

Travel is different. We have the right to travel freely throughout the country.

The question is; to what ends are these draconian measures being instigated? Is the purpose really to protect us? If so, answer me these questions:

1.) Why are the pilots being scanned and patted down? Once in the cockpit do they not have the ability to slam the plane into anything they want? This question is key to the real answer here!

2.) Why are we questioning whether or not to pat down Muslim women? Are not Muslims the most prevalent terrorists? The answer to this question is also key.

Personally, I think these measures have been taken to humiliate us and cause us to fear our own government.

If you've ever been into an NFL stadium on gameday, you'd know the odds of that happening are near zero. Dozens of police there, fans are checked before entering, stadiums have barriers usually to prevent truck bombs, etc.

The Xray machines are unnecessary and actually harmful physically.. They are money makers for a special interest. The threat has existed for years, but freedom and civil rights considerations has previously trumped any clampdowns.

Many career politicans died in the last election and the others can still smell the blood. Hit while the iron is hot and call their asses.

Frontier customer service refunded my $1000 non-refundable ticket today. Previously reservations and the supervisor denied the refund.

All customer service asked was why. I told them that they could not guarantee that my son and myself would not be sexually molested trying to board the plane. They agreed and gave me a refund.

Not flying anymore. Road trips or train only, as long as we can drive or use the train. I figure about a year then there will be roadblocks run by TSA perverts and TSA perverts at the train and bus stations. Time to stop the pervision.

But the right to travel freely is a right given in the constitution. The SCOTUS needs to determine 2 things.

1.) Is travel by flight a privilege or a right?
2.) Must all government LE agencies abide by the 4th amendment (the the constitution states) or all except the TSA???

Truth be told if the SCOTUS determines that travel by flight is a privilege and the Airline or Airport hired private security to do their dirty work...they'll be able to do everything they are now and more...

The big picture is police state.

Odds are 100% everyone dies sooner or later. Is it worth your freedom and dignity to prematurely prevent it for a few... even though the odds are microscopic. Keep in mind 50,000 die every year in car crashes... just one cause of nearly 2,000,000 death in US every year.

Support for scanners at stadiums is not infringing on civil rights. We don't use a stadium to conduct business to improve the economy or for employment (except for hotdog salesmen).

So to relate the two is fucking pointless. Point being...bad analogy asshole!
