Like having a family member wanting to sell Quoting: Bigboatyou Amway? She is absolutely right about not having to worry about paying for gas or mortgage. When they repo her car and forclose on her house, she won't have to worry about it any more. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I wonder how it's working out for her? |

Quoting: Tumbleweed HippyYa know, there are a LOT of companies now that are doing just that. Even so much as to place on their application preamble that unemployed applicants will not be considered for hire! Good luck to ya. Thanks and that is likely the case, so I want my damn 99 weeks of unemployment and not have these hypocritical illogical Republicans dick with it as they have been for awhile now. |

Quoting: Tumbleweed HippyYou are either an employer that says thanks instead of giving a deserved raise, or You are a mindless drone that actually believes this. Actually this has been shown many times. Shitty training and environment always outshine pay raises when these surveys are done. |

If you are any good , you would be making $20 to $ 25 in a few years . Quoting: BigboatI first tried to get unemployed family members and close friends to come in and interview , no luck . they all told me they can make more on unemployment. Its thanksgiving Two of them are about to site down for dinner at my house. They are still unemployed , benefits are running out . they have no medical insurance. Whats wrong with this system !!! I have this problem every year at harvest time on my farm. Everyone complains they cant find work, offer them a Temp job (5 weeks) and they are not intrested. I work 17 hours a day during the growing season, and still manage to pick up side jobs and Im Retired, 20 years USMC. Someone offers me work and I do it, regardless of what it pays. If I have free time, Im making money. |

Enaid User ID: 515273 United States 11/26/2010 11:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Last year we were looking to have some home improvement stuff done. At the time my husband worked a lot of hours, so some of it that I couldn't do, and he had no time to do we were going to hire someone to do. Quoting: Storm*There was a couple of different people we talked to that we would have probably hired. We knew them through other friends. Both were said to be looking for work, and complaining about times being tough, and there being no work. We were not asking for or expecting any special deal, just asking for an estimate. Neither would even come out to take a look. I called several companies to get estimates. Central air estimates. And floor estimates. House raising estimates. Some made appointments, but didn't show. Some came, but never gave me an estimate. Some gave me estimates, but didn't call me back to arrange the work. Some were just rude and obnoxious. It was like pulling teeth. I had work. But no one seemed to want it. Personal responsibility - try it sometime. Quit blaming others for your bad choices. Consequences happen. :enaid11: |

Back to craigslis looking for a used mobile/manufactured home. Found 100s that needed to be moved . made a deal on one that was a reasonable distance from the property . paid 20% of what the home sold for new , had it moved to the property wife and i did most of the work saved 70% let the big house in the city go back to the bank yup, OP is a total bull shitter see his post here, 4th post on the page Thread: Fuck rent or a mortgage! That is exactly what I am making on unemployment. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 592469This pisses me off. I work. I do whatever I have to do. Now it means making less than ever before. I don't think so. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 592469THIS IS EXACTLY WHY. CUT THE FUCKING UNEMPLOYMENT. |

SaltWaterTaffy User ID: 1027643 United States 01/20/2011 11:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | $12-15 dollars an hour is well above unemployment benefits. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1087445OP FAIL. Not everywhere. In NJ the max is 550/week, so if you were making more than 60000/year you would receive that much for your weekly benefit. If you happen to have small children in daycare, that's 500-800 a month. Gas is $3/gallon. So someone could have more money collecting unemployment for 99 weeks than they would making $12-$15 an hour. I'm still working, but when I think about a 99 week paid vacation, it's tempting to try to get laid off. The only reason not to take a layoff if one was offered to me would be to keep my resume in good shape. :SWT name: When the shit hits the fan and the end is quite nigh, will you cry out to heaven? Will you lay down and die? Not me, my dear ones. This is my sacred life. To no one or no thing I'll surrender. For how does one know where when dead he will go, or if sweet mother Earth she'll remember? |
