That's an interesting point, because the NYT spilled these classified documents in a heartbeat, while at the same time has refused to release classified information on the grounds that it is a crime.

Why the discrepancy? NYT is the government and so is Wikileaks.

If it was "real" then it would've released the climategate emails - it did not.

Wikileaks is meant to drive anti-government sentiment and make the US look bad. They will occasionally post some good info in order to boost their credibility, but their goal is simply the destruction of the United States of America.

Based on the latest leaks, which made the US look bad and bolstered Israel's case for war with Iran, it's pretty obvious that it's a mossad operation. Especially since netanyahu said 2 days before the leaks that Israel would be exonerated.

I would also observe that so far, it's been pretty effective.
That said, a lot of people (the slow ones) are starting to smell a rat.
