The original woman that you described would not be called a feminist, but someone who had been abused. This can apply to men or women. Their bodies can become addicted to the drama and will allow "drama" peptides to dock in cells over proteins to help build the body.

We all know people, both men and women, who have stayed with abusive partners. They were brought up with abuse and receate when they become adulats. ULESS they take steps to knw themselves, and to break the cycle.

Men need to start getting to knw themselves, and stop projecting outswards onto women. Both men and women need to stop blaming the other for their problems. All problems and all solutions start with the self.

Women have led the way on this path of self-insight in the past few decades. Yes, there are still some young women who have been brainwashed by Hollyweird (just as there are young men who have been brainwhased by porn.)But go to any group based on self-inquiry (eg: meditation, philosophical discussion, commenity groups, yoga even etc) and it is at least 80% women. Men seem to be having a harder time figuring out who they are, and how to change.

This spiritual age that we are in is all about Know Thyself, and consciously evolving. ARe you doing that, or are you still going to the bar to drink and watch professional sports on tv.

I would like to add a really helpful book I read to help my understanding of men and vice versa...Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus....

My ex and I would read a chapter every night...I would read a chapter, and highlight things I wanted him to especially look into and he would do the same and we would switch. It did help.

I know one of my problems - as in something I needed to stop - was when we would be arguing about something and when he would try to drop the subject I would keep going and going and going, I felt I was not heard at all.....well, thats considered nagging to some people, really I would like to believe he did care about what I was saying, but I should have dropped it and let him go to his "mancave" when he was upset....and brought it up again another time when we both had some air.

This is one example of something I learned in this book...another thing is appreciation...it goes a long way, (when its not fake of course)...you're stroking their ego of course which is fine, but I think it makes them feel fulfilled as a man/breadwinner/hero extraoridaire. It does something primally good.

Women also deserve appreciation, it IS a two way street. Taking care of a home and kids and meals isn't a walk in the park...coming up behind your wife slaving in the kitchen and telling her how sexy it is or how you appreciate it also goes a long way...
