WOW! I went to the SEC.gov link someone posted on this thread that did name this guy in a scam! That did it for me he is no different than any other scammers around. Too bad I thought maybe he was legit... Oh well, I will save my money now after all they are US dollars!

I think there is valuable information that cannot be dismissed in this sales video. It would be ignorant of us to dismiss everything mentioned as fear mongering and/or falsehood just because he is selling a product and/or pitches an opposite view than you or I may hold. However, because he is selling a product, it likewise would be equally ignorant of us to believe everything he says. It cannot be denied that corporations are watching their own interests over mine and yours, and that interest is money. This sales pitch uses fear to push the product, and likely this fear is (to use his own words) HYPER-INFLATED, as it's in the best interest of this market pitch to do so in order to produce desired results. Those desired results: Feelings of unpreparedness and fear for your future, since you do not yet obtain knowledge they have to make you "prepared".

It is also important to note, as mentioned above by another "poster", he is accepting the purchase of his "product" in US DOLLARS. Does that not say something in itself, if nothing else than being a little hypercritical.

On a more "personal opinion" note, even with the "provided" insight this firm guarantees to deliver, I believe the average American, myself included, will be able to do VERY LITTLE with the information provided by this product. More so, this can be verified with the film's own facts. If 13% of Americans are unemployed, then with what money do they have to prepare? NONE. If 47% of Americans spend more then they have earned in a year, with what money do they have to prepare? NONE. Using simple math, it seems to me these "solutions" are not viable for at least half of the American population. Even if we were given sound investment advice, as paycheck-to-paycheck Americans, we have no money left over already after paying the typical cost of living.

Another note: The "Number One Investment" in a time of financial crisis... that which most super rich own. FARM LAND. Food prices soar during times of financial disaster. Hence farm land is one of the few assets in which one can INCREASE RENT (to farmers) during a financial fallout. Think; in order to survive you do not really absolutely need shelter (or very much of one anyways: a tent will do), but TWO THINGS you must have. Water and FOOD. It is true, throughout our American history, many of the wealthiest families in America own large amounts of farmland. This applies globally as well. However, as appealing as this sounds, I have to ask myself, with money will I buy this asset. To my previous point in the paragraph above, what good is the information when the average man/woman can do very little to apply it (especially considering the time constraints the film implies is readily approaching).

In summary, it is not sound financial advice that will save we the people, or our children. It is time we understood the architecture and purpose of government and centralized banking. Both are destructive forces against civilization, community, and personal freedoms. We have not fallen far from the apple tree of history's past governing bodies, despite what we are taught. This is not a Democratic or Republican issue, as the parties really differ little in a larger perspective. We are typically presented with a very limited view of the world despite the endless possibles the governing laws of nature provide for us as examples.

My suggestion, start here. If you were open enough to listen to even a portion of that film, I hope you will give these films below equal opportunity. Please take notice you have not heard about these important concepts from mainstream media, you or your child's education system, your corporate atmosphere, or your government that is suppose to represent you. So, I had been meaning to watch the video, and finally got around to it. Other then it being nothing except a sales pitch from a scam artist, so many people here are saying he is right. I disagree. Not on the fact that we are indeed in a bad place financially, but in the actual facts he sites. The first "fact" I double checked was his claim that the "Winter of Discontent" was because the british governmnt stopped all wages, which is untrue. The fact of the matter is, it froze raises to 5% in the public sector in hopes the private sector would follow. they didnt stop wages as it implies.

Maybe he's right, maybe he's wrong...but what took me half the day to watch, could have been said in less then 20 minutes...and no, i didn't finish the video

I had to stop watching it ... Felt like he was saying the same thing in as many different ways as possible. I do agree that things have become a bit out of control in this country but I felt like at any seconed he was going to say "Now buy my book" for six low priced payment of 6.66 lol Felt like there was just to much of the "scare tacti c's". Also Great Britain did lose 3.5 million jobs in the 70/80's but gained them all back plus more by the 90's... Lets just face it... Nobody know exactly what the fix is. I listened to it. I think it's spot on. I think 50.00 isn't that much for all the work and resources he put into the video/resources he is offering.

I think the collapse of the dollar was setup. I think that the collapse of the dollar is totally necessary for a world currency and that is the plan and has been for many, many years.

I think that it is not propagating "fear" to encourage people to prepare for the potential worst. Prepare for the worst and if nothing happens or things improve than you are in a good situation either way.

Yeah i have looked at this thing, and realized his lack of emotion, his lack of energy. With no emotion toward the so called "End of America" I begin to question if he is really worried about it, which then makes me wonder if its even valid. Stansberry doesn't even cite his resources, he just throws stuff at you and you just kind of have to believe him. What really kills me is that thing at the very end.

Did he not just spend like 3 hours explaining to us that the american dollar is dying? I have a hard time really believing him after he wants me to makes me watch such a long video, only to want me to pay him money.

Although there may be some truth and some cause for concern I believe the one and only reason for this extra long drawn-out dissertation is to frighten people into buying his newsletter. If he is genuinely concerned about his readers welfare rather than his own profits he would be offering his solution at the end of his video at no charge.

The simple test: Try and close the window once the video starts.

As for the USD not being desired by others anymore... ever had a collection of ANYTHING? Most collections peak out... you get enough of the item. USD is just the same. Countries that have enough USD (real or owed) don't want any more USD. Then there's the gas issue... the prices listed were correct at the pump, but were not the cost to get the gas. The video did not consider taxes in each country (or quantity influenced pricing).

Pff.. it's a scare tactic folks. Did he also predict Japan's tragedies and the upset from all these Middle eastern revolutions? Nope. He weants to sell a newsletter, porbably telling you to invest in crap he gets kickbacks from. He gets rich regardless of what happens to you, or whether anything he says happens.
Is he right about a bunch of stuff? Yeah. But lies without a grain of truth aren't believable. I fact checked a few things he said, and he was wrong. Not like "He misinterpreted", simple figures in which he was just wrong. It's hard to take anybody seriously when they don't fact check.

That you equate the phrase "printing money" with physcial cash is so funny it isn't even funny! When the Fed "prints money", it means that extra zeros suddenly appear in Federal Reserve Banks. Here's One Suggestion:

Why not everyone focus their minds and spirits on establishing a state of inner calm. Just stop what you're doing, sit down, and breathe.

Get rid of all those things. Breathe them out of your mental landscape. They serve no useful purpose.

Observe that if you think about something--an event, a physical object, a person, a situation--long enough, it tends to become embedded in your mind; over time, it becomes part of your daily, waking thoughts, and it seems to appear real to you, at least from an inner perspective.

Specifically, it shows itself in how you respond to other people around you. If you have all this worry, fear, and concern inside your head, then that's what you're going to show forth to others.

Just stop and think about that for a moment.

If you substitute Love, Joy, and Honesty, for Worry, Fear, and Concern, then the negative emotions will no longer hold sway over you.

If people think about disaster, then it tends to appear. Or you can do the new-age thing, or the feel-good thing, too. Whatever floats your boat.

It's as simple as just listening to your own thoughts, realizing what's being thought about, and why, and using your own inherent faculties of reason to eliminate thought that doesn't serve any useful purpose.

Awareness is the key. The more Aware we are, the less we will are affected by everyone else's emotional waste. This applies to individuals, groups, and societies.

The key element is getting a lot of people to stop worrying, fearing, and being concerned over things that are out of their control and are mostly likely not going to happen, and start focusing on Love, Joy, Honesty, Wisdom, and Happiness.

True Happiness occurs when Love becomes the prime motivation behind actions--all actions!
