Ex_Mormon yes. Gone straight? If they had told me about Mountain Meadows Massacre or that their own scriptures both affirm and condemn David and Solomon's polygamy, I never would have joined.

My logic has always been straight. The reason the Mormons are a cult is that they have limit potential converts access to information, like the massacre, and the contradictory doctrine about David and Solomon in the Pearl of Great Price and other Mormon holy books, in order to achieve conversion. And limit your access to information while you are their philosophical captive.

I've always been straight. It's the Mormons, who refuse to grant full access to information that make the people they have converted appear to be not straight, who are not straight.

Then I would rather be a pig and sap up all the knowledge I can in order to better myself, than to be relegated to only one doctrine dictating how I should live my life.

What I am saying is that it is God that is turning peoples heads to see the 11:11 or 111 etc. He is showing His power and how it is Him that is in control of the nations.

This is what we should get out of it.

The ones seeing the 11's may be the 'desire of all nations' to rebuild the former glory.

Year 11 may just be the year to do just that.

The probability that you will see 11:11 on a clock during any given day is 2 in 1440 (actually pretty good odds). There are only 1440 minutes in a day and the time 11:11 will appear twice during the course of any one day.

Now let's suppose you have several clocks (like most people do), and they are not all exactly in sync. Suppose you have 3 clocks in your house and all of them are off by one minute of each other. You have increased your probability of seeing the time 11:11 once again.

Now, let's consider the normal hours in which people are awake. All people will probably be awake to see 11:11 at least once during the day and many people will actually be awake to see 11:11 occur TWICE during the day, while most will rarely see 1:11, 2:22, or 3:33 as these are the hours during which most people sleep, so the probability of seeing those times in any given day is actually less than 1 in 1440 for most people.

It can easily be seen just by the probability of seeing the time 11:11 in a single day that seeing that combination of numbers is far from impressive or prophetic (the odds are about that of hitting the daily number, which is pretty good odds).

Now, let's think of other ways people could see 11:11 and think it is a strange occurrence when it is really just a number sequence that occurs quite often on a day to day basis and they have simply become aware of it.

A $20 bill is a commonly used currency. $11.11 would be exact change returned from an expense of $8.89, which is a price with a 1 in 1000 probability of occurring in any expense less than $10 ($10 is the most common amount spent in any one location over several locations visited during the day). The odds of $8.89 being your total purchase are actually LESS THAN 1 in 1000 on an expense less than $10 because most products cost $1 or more, thereby increasing the probability to somewhere around 1 in 900. And then there is price setting, which is why you will see price totals that look familiar quite often - because things are actually set to come out a certain way, which only further increases the probability of receiving $11.11 in change. Let's say the odds with all things factored in of receiving $11.11 in change is 1 in 800. Now let's say you visit 10 stores during the course of the week and you spend no more than $10 at each location (the most common purchase is less than $10) and you use the most common denomination of currency to pay with - a $20. You've increased your chances! What you've done is actually like buying 10 daily number lottery tickets.

Also, there are license plate numbers. Most license plate numbers end in four numerical digits, making the odds of seeing one at most 1 in 10000. Now how many license plates will you see in a single day? A crap load if you drive! Well into the hundreds would be my guess. Now average those odds out over a week.

Then there's phone numbers. Again, not real impossible odds there...

There's tons more examples.

The bottom line is that 11:11 is not that uncommon a numerical sequence and the odds are greatly in favor of you seeing it at least once over the course of a week and probably much much more often if you are actually paying attention or even looking for it.

New Agers are dragged into this crap because that's what the New Age hoaxsters scamming them do - they play psychological games and games of probability on those with what amounts to little common sense who do not pay attention to the obvious things of the world (the proof is in thew pudding - New Age FOLLOWERS all have their heads in the clouds instead of on planet earth and the things right in front of them. They are prime targets for hoaxes and scams).


There is nothing special about 11:11 other than a whole lot of people are being taken in by the obvious - THE LAW OF PROBABILITY.

The T.V in my bedroom sits on top of the Cable Box, I have a desk near the T.V with my computer on it....Now have I seen 11:11 on the digital cable box? yes..WHY do I notice it? because people talk about it, so it makes me take notice that the clock says 11:11..

I have only awoke once where I looked at the clock and it said 11:11...

I see 11:11, 5:55, 3:33 quite often and have for some time. After I was SAVED last year, I simply pray when I see it. Problem solved.

What I am saying is the numbers of 11:11 would not matter to anyone, it is because some have said 11:11 means something.....What would 11:11 mean to you, had no one pointed out those numbers?

Maybe 1/11/11 will mean something or mean nothing....As I said 11:11 can be used as a deception, and I try to focus on GOD's word as not to be deceived as Jesus said even the *Elect* will be deceived in the Last Days....

Numbers do matter to God. There is even a book named 'Numbers' in the bible.

Your heart seems to be hard and your mind is closed. Until this is remedied you will not be able to discern wholly/holy things.

Many things are used as deceptions these days, however, this phenomena did not come from no lab or scientific study...this phenomena is coming from within.
